About T.Aves

Taylor Aves is a science illustrator. Working in a variety of mediums including watercolor and digital painting, she makes art exploring the themes of observation. Her goal is to promote curiosity and education on the natural world through visual media. She is currently earning her BFA in Studio Art at Louisiana Tech University.

Statement

My illustrations revolve around the idea of turning the daily observations I make into educational material. They are opportunities to combine science and nature into something I can share with others. The reason I make art is to promote curiosity in the world surrounding people, to invite them into exploring the things they might overlook.
